A few weeks ago a couple of friends and I headed up to foggy London town for none other than the O’Neill London Premier of new surf movie ‘Fighting Fear’. Having seen all the hype on Facebook and watched the trailer, I knew the film was bound to be a goodun’, and was super excited to get to go check it out.
The movie was sick. As you can see from the trailer, the movie is about big wave surfer Mark Matthews and his best buddy, MMA fighter Richie Vaculik. These guys have grown up together, been through some serious shit together, and together show an truly inspring ‘never give up’ attitude which has led them both to be super sucessful. As well as having a truly engaging story, there was some seriously awesome surfing in there too. My surf knowledge is pretty basic, but these guys were ripping up some pretty huge waves. Everyone left the cinema stoked, and I think its fair to say we all had a pretty fun night at the after party as well!
